Newborn photos
Your first days at home with you new baby are full of emotions, especially discovering this enormous love you might have never known you were capable of. As a mother inspired by those moments with my own babies, I am bring my camera and vision to your home. Together, we'll create images for you that will forever remind you of this moment. It's not about squishy baby poses and tiny adorable hats, as lovely as those photos are. These sessions are about something authentic to your experience. Ultimately, we want to build a book of memories or some archival prints that you will be able to hold long after your baby has outgrown your arms.
The Process
Reserve
Book your newborn session at least a couple of months before your expected delivery date. Once your retainer fee is paid and your contract is signed, we're just waiting on baby's arrival to finalize a date and time.
Create
About 10-14 days after baby arrives home, I'll come to your home and work with the natural light there to get beautiful images of baby, and of those new bonds with siblings and family.
Enjoy
About two weeks after your session, you'll receive an online photo slideshow and download your photos. Photo collections include digital files and access to quality prints and products. Also happy to upload your images to Minted so you can create your own birth announcements.
FAQ's
Do you offer maternity photos?
Yes, absolutely! Typically recommend photographing these around 28-34 weeks. Ask about adding on a half maternity session when you book your newborn photo session.
How far in advance should I book?
I would recommend booking at least a month or two before your delivery date. That said, there's a good chance I can accommodate even if you're already home with baby by the time you're seeing this. Reach out today.
Where do we have our photo session?
We typically photograph your new baby at home, using natural window light and the best spots for photos. If you would prefer, I do have several natural light studios available to me that we could use.
Do you photograph just baby, or the family too?
We definitely will include the family, and I wouldn't have it any other way. As much as we want to photograph your new baby and all their precious little features, we also want to capture those special connections with parents and siblings.
